JOB DESCRIPTION

• Demonstrate exercises and routines to clients
• Assist clients in exercises to minimize injury and promote fitness
• Modify exercises according to clients’ fitness levels
• Maintain professional relationships with current and potential new clients
• Self-promotion and the Method Gym brand
• Work all scheduled floor hours and book member assessments in helping to build your personal training business.
• Continual pursuit of coaching excellence and professional development as a personal trainer
• Be prepared for personal training sessions with programming completed prior to the session, arriving at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled sessions

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have nationally recognized personal training certification
  Exercise science, kinesiology, or other related background preferred, but not required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excels in time management, organizational and follow-up skills
• Computer literate, tech savvy, energetic, and friendly
• CPR/AED certification (required upon hire)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Provide a high level of energy and enthusiasm for an enjoyable workout
• Teach weekly classes and maintain availability for on-call needs
• Clean and organize studio after each group fitness class
• Design each class to match the skill and learning levels of all participants
• Track class attendance and monitor class size to gauge effectiveness of promotions
• Promote club programs products and services to class participants
• Correct unsafe movements and suggest alternate exercises
• Explain class objectives and rules
• Greet all members in a professional and friendly manner
• Keep management informed of all customer, equipment and facility needs

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma/GED required or equivalent work experience
• CPR/AED certification (required upon hire)
• Continued education and never-ending pursuit of coaching excellence
• Les Mills Certification (if applicable)

• Provide quality customer service and a positive greeting
• Answers phones, queries from members and directs calls
• Participate in sales training to develop skills to sell memberships to prospective members during periods of the day when the membership office is closed
• Update member accounts to ensure correct contact information and billing information
• Report supplies needed to the supervisor
• Previous sales experience preferred

• Daytime cleaning crew member responsible for general cleaning and deep cleaning of the entire gym
• Complete a daily cleaning checklist
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the locker room and equipment
• Provide manager with necessary cleaning supplies orders weekly

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be flexible and be able to clean all areas of the gym
• Must have some experience in residential or commercial buildings cleaning
• Work within established systems, standards and procedures
